Embedded Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
  • You design, document, and implement tests according to functional requirements (focused on HIL component and system integration tests)
  • You design, set up and maintain test hardware and integrate it into our CI pipeline
  • You analyze and report complex issues or misbehavior
  • You help to improve our software quality process
Your Profile
  • You completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar fields
  • You have at least two years of professional software testing experience (preferably in embedded software)
  • You have very good Python skills
  • You have a good understanding of software lifecycle and testing methodologies
  • You have experience with CI/CD pipeline and tools (ideally Jenkins)
  • You are comfortable with working on Linux
  • You have an analytical and structured working style 
  • You might have experience in other valuable knowledge: CAN, BLE, ANT+, C/C++, bash, embedded systems, docker
  • You speak English fluently

About us
At the headquarters in Ottobrunn near Munich, the Porsche eBike Performance GmbH develops, produces and markets advanced drive systems for two brands: FAZUA with the focus on pioneering compact lightweights for agile e-bikes and under the brand name Porsche exceptionally powerful drive systems. FAZUA is a young, ambitious brand that has transformed the cycling industry in 2017 with its innovative drive system for agile, compact, lightweight (and extremely good looking) e-bikes. Since July 2022, we are a part of  the Porsche eBike Performance GmbH through the takeover by Porsche AG. Deine Aufgaben
  • Du bist verantwortlich für die Entwicklung, Dokumentation und Implementierung unserer Software Tests entsprechend den funktionalen Anforderungen (Schwerpunkt: HIL-Komponenten und Systemintegrationstests)
  • Du entwickelst und baust Testhardware auf und integrierst diese in unsere CI-Pipeline
  • Du analysierst und meldest komplexe Probleme oder Fehlverhalten
  • Du unterstützt uns in der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Software Prozessqualität
Dein Profil
  • Du hast ein Bachelor- bzw. Masterstudium im Bereich Informatik, Elektrotechnik oder ähnliches abgeschlossen
  • Du besitzt mindestens zwei Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Software Testing (vorzugsweise mit Embedded Software)
  • Du bringst sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python mit
  • Du hast ein gutes Verständnis von Software Lifecycles und Testing Methodiken
  • Du kennst dich mit CI/CD Pipelines und Tools aus (idealerweise mit Jenkins)
  • Du arbeitest gerne in Linux
  • Du bringst möglicherweise auch Kenntnisse in den folgenden Bereichen mit: CAN, BLE, ANT+, C/C++, Bash, Embedded Systems, Docker
  • Du sprichst fließend Englisch

FAZUA ist eine junge, ambitionierte Marke, die 2017 die Fahrradindustrie mit einem komplett neuen, innovativen Antriebssystem für leichte, agile (und gutaussehende) E-Bikes auf den Kopf stellte. Seit Juli 2022 sind wir durch die Übernahme durch die Porsche AG Teil der Porsche eBike Performance GmbH.
