Industrial Designer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
  • As part of the industrial design team, you will support the design team and product development teams
  • Iterative development and supervision of ideas and concepts from the first sketch to 3D models. You will work both independently and in coordination with other teams and stakeholders
  • Creating prototypes to clarify ergonomics and operating concepts as well as styling ideas at different stages of development
  • Collecting and evaluating feedback from testers and relevant stakeholders
  • Supporting the implementation of Design concepts until series production as well as the development of detailed solutions and design adjustments
  • Participating in further development of the design language of our brands (Porsche eBike Performance, Fazua)
Your Profile
  • Completed studies in product, industrial, or transportation design, coupled with at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Possess a strong portfolio featuring independent, innovative projects and successfully realized products
  • Demonstrate a motivated and autonomous work ethic
  • Have an excellent sense for form and proportion
  • A solid understanding of ergonomics and user interaction
  • Knowledgeable about production processes and materials
  • Skilled in using 3D programs such as Rhino, Alias, or Blender, as well as the Adobe Suite
  • Able to quickly and clearly visualize and communicate ideas
  • Tasks are completed in an organized and meticulous manner
  • Experienced in designing products with complex requirements
  • Passionate about biking
  • Proficient in English

About us
At the headquarters in Ottobrunn near Munich, the Porsche eBike Performance GmbH develops, produces and markets advanced drive systems for two brands: FAZUA with the focus on pioneering compact lightweights for agile e-bikes and under the brand name Porsche exceptionally powerful drive systems. FAZUA is a young, ambitious brand that has transformed the cycling industry in 2017 with its innovative drive system for agile, compact, lightweight (and extremely good looking) e-bikes. Since July 2022, we are a part of  the Porsche eBike Performance GmbH through the takeover by Porsche AG. Deine Aufgaben
  • Als Teil des Industrial Design Teams unterstützt du das Design Team, und Produkt- Entwicklungsteams
  • Iterative Entwicklung und Betreuung von Ideen und Konzepten von der ersten Skizze bis hin zu 3D Modellen. Dabei arbeitest du sowohl selbstständig als auch in Abstimmung mit anderen Teams und Stakeholdern
  • Erstellung von Prototypen zur Klärung von Ergonomie- und Bedienkonzepten sowie Styling Ideen in unterschiedlichen Entwicklungsständen
  • Erfassung und Bewertung von Feedback von Testern und relevanten Stakeholdern
  • Begleitung der Umsetzung in die Serienproduktion sowie die Ausarbeitung von Detaillösungen und Designanpassungen
  • Aktive Gestaltung und Weiterentwicklung der Formensprache unserer Marken (Porsche eBike Performance, Fazua)
Dein Profil
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Produkt-, Industrie- oder Transportation Design und mindestens 5 Jahre relevante Erfahrungen im Berufsleben
  • Aussagekräftiges Portfolio mit eigenständigen und innovativen Projekten und erfolgreich umgesetzten Produkten
  • Motivierte und eigenständige Arbeitsweise
  • Sehr gutes Gespür für Formen und Proportionen
  • Gutes Verständnis für Ergonomie und Interaktion
  • Verständnis für Produktionsverfahren und Materialien
  • Kompetenter Umgang sowohl mit 3D Programmen wie z.B. Rhino, Alias oder Blender als auch der Adobe Suite
  • Schnelle und verständliche Visualisierung und Kommunikation von Ideen
  • Deine Aufgaben erledigst du organisiert und pflichtbewusst
  • Erfahrung im Gestalten von Produkten mit komplexen Anforderungen

Die Porsche eBike Performance GmbH entwickelt, produziert und vermarktet am Firmenstandort in Ottobrunn bei München wegweisende Antriebssysteme unter zwei Marken: kompakte Leichtgewichte von FAZUA für agile E-Bikes, die ein außergewöhnlich natürliches Fahrgefühl schaffen, sowie zukünftig auch besonders leistungsfähige Antriebssysteme unter dem Markennamen Porsche. FAZUA ist eine junge, ambitionierte Marke, die 2017 die Fahrradindustrie mit einem komplett neuen, innovativen Antriebssystem für leichte, agile (und gutaussehende) E-Bikes auf den Kopf stellte. Seit Juli 2022 sind wir durch die Übernahme durch die Porsche AG Teil der Porsche eBike Performance GmbH.
